The daughter of a Carpenter and a Housewife, I grew up in a time where if it broke, you fixed it, if you needed something, you made it.  Presents were best when they were handmade.  This is a theory I still believe in. 

I enjoy making things out of reclaimed articles.  The problem is I don't have enough space to keep everything.  A bigger house would be wonderful but its also nice to see my work enjoyed by others that own it.  What started as a hobby is now becoming a small business.  I live in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, about a 2 hour drive north of Toronto.  Cottage country, home of the Muskoka chair and a bear in my backyard.
